Golden filaments are the ecologically pure material which stimulates collagen and elastic fibers formation under the skin and in that way acts on the facial skin tightening. This is painless and bloodless cosmeto-surgical procedure for the facial rejuvenation which can replace classical facelift in patients whose skin is not too loose.

Goal: Tightening of the facial skin in patients with not too evident skin laxity.

Operative technique: Following the pattern of the previously marked spots on the facial skin, the special 24 carat-gold 0.1 mm tiny threads are pulled under the skin in the network manner. Visible results are expected during the period from three weeks to three months, the time necessary for the body to react by formation of elastic and collagen fibers around gold filaments.

Duration and anesthesia: The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and lasts around 30 minutes. Special cream is applied on the skin and the patient released.

Rare complications: Mild swelling or bruises which can persist several days and can be covered with make-up.
